Removing the Case

The first step for installing your new drive is removing the case.

Note: Doing this may void your computer's warranty. Check with your manufacturer.

Make sure that all cables are removed from the back

of the tower. Failure to do so may result in electrocution

and/or cause permanent damage to the computer.

Once all cables are disconnected, remove any screws that fasten the case to the rest of the tower. Now slide the case

off backwards and set it aside. Each computer is unique and may not disassemble the same. You may need to toy

with it.
